Unity/Joy

When I think about unity I think about colors and shapes and multiple patterns in the same space. A blend of different materials combined together.As a result earthenware series is created with a mindset filled with moments of sharing, thoughts and ideas.

I love red clay. It’s the first type of clay that I discovered through ceramic art and this is the base for the earthenware series.High levels of plasticity give me the freedom to create any shape without limitations which creates a feeling of joy and playfulness.Simple lines and forms inside low fire.

Glazing is such a fun process with earthenware, big variety of colors and fun begins.Cyans and magentas, reds and yellows combined into a sweet dance of colors, one in the top of another, combining the earthy surface of the ceramics with pure excitement.

Shiny and loud.Different but same.
